This was taken in Los Angeles in what was one of the last times I saw my mom and brother in person. I miss them so! Every now and then when I forget we’re in the middle of a horrific pandemic I think back to this trip to LA at the Silver Lake Pool & Inn and my cool Milena Silvano confection coat and I am tempted to book a little getaway to see them. But then reality crashes in and I realize the best chance is going to be a road trip sandwiched by quarantines and COVID tests. Sigh.
