REID jeans c/o Talley NYC, REPOSSI ring, MARNI top
Super black denim with the perfect amount of stretch and just the right crop at the ankle is all I'm interested in these days. I wanted something that feels like it's a legging, but keeps the structure and polish of denim throughout wears, and Talley NYC delivered just that to me. I don't care if there's a slight break in period in these Reid pants — mostly due to my larger than normal butt area — because after they've formed to your curves they become your most comfortable and go-to pair of jeans. They've become the pair on top of my denim pile, second only to my leather leggings (which are proving super essential thanks to this chilly San Francisco summer). My jeans are in a size 26, which is my usual size in most brands, but fair warning, friends: Like I said in my previous post about Talley NYC denim, they are pretty unforgiving at first. They seem stiff and maybe even too small, but give them a good test run before calling it quits. Sit in them! Walk in them, crouch, and do other positions to let the fibers loosen up and form to you. You'll be surprised how fast the break in period is.
