There's way to avoid this fact: my hair is going gray. Like most people, going gray is a genetic predisposition, and it's one that I knew about since I was very young and watched both of my parents go gray in their 30s. Now in my very late 20s here I sit with the option to either demolish every gray hair in sight with hair dye, thus igniting a never ending process of root control, or, I can choose to let my hair age gracefully by employing a team of experts to help me apply some hair dye trickery and allow some of them to shine through, proving to my self (and everyone I interact with, I guess) that I'm showing one of the telltale signs of aging and that I'm okay with it.
Travis at Spoke and Weal in San Francisco helped me grow my hair when it was gnarly and sad, and now he's helping me with a new hair issue: going gray gracefully. For now, this method will have to do because I have no desire to become a slave to hair dye quite yet — hopefully maybe ever? So this is my plan, and if it's even a bit like what your plan is, I highly suggest visiting experts like Travis. They reside in LA, SF, and NY. Go get, 'em.
