Say what you want about the Hadid sisters, but Bella's stares at the camera are captivating AF.
On my mind: Red
Miu Miu Meets FREDA
Last week I joined the happy ranks of badass women called FREDA Girls.
I am incredibly humbled to be included in this group of inspiring women and was given the opportunity to talk about my career, my art, and my home life. So it only seemed appropriate that I photographed the feature in my hometown of El Cerrito. I could have chosen a fancy location, or even pretend to live and work somewhere else for the photos, but I didn't. I chose to show my neighborhood, my home, and my work in all its realistic un-glory.
I'm so proud of this feature and I can't wait to share some more of the photos from the set, photographed by my husband Nick Smith.
Check out the feature here if you feel like reading more about it.
