I've got a consistent infatuation with the richly detailed, colorful, painterly stills. I re-cropped some of their Spring 2017 photos and fell in love with the compositions that it seriously makes me want to paint this.
Watch me do it!

Here I thought Anya Hindmarch was only a handbag designer known for happy emoji leather stickers and simple shapes in bright colors. But clothes? Especially such colorful Delpozo-esque architectural shapes? It was a lovely surprise.
Yes, I am aware we are past NYFW, and past London Fashion Week, and now into Milan. But I'm just a girl with a full time job trying to catch up.
I will say that NYFW was not as good as LFW. I have the looks pulled on my desktop ready for gifification (I just invented that word) or moodboardification (also that one) soon!
In the meantime, let's just enjoy these straight up rips from Vogue detailing my favorite street style ladies from New York.
Here's what I know: These ladies wore my favorite dresses to the Emmys last night.
Priyanka Chopra looked so incredible in that crimson Jason Wu. I'm not a huge fan of one-shoulder gowns, but the intricate draping is what makes it interesting. Props to her minimalistic styling here and going with a matchy lip!
Emilia Clarke wore the outfit I'd probably wear if I was anyone attending the Emmys. I love that the color of her Atelier Versace dress matched her skin tone because it gave it an extra layer of sexiness. Her anti-red carpet pose and minimal styling (again!) is what really thrilled me because this could have been easily way over done with jewels or an intricate updo.
Sarah Paulson in Prada is borderline matronly but ultimately I think it looks really fun on her, so I'm standing by this decision because the color is so unexpected in a field of expected red carpet colors. Plus, I'm sure this dress looks much better IRL.
Kirsten Dunst wore a very understated Givenchy dress that I really liked! The sheer bottom is the only thing I'm really on the fence on here, since the combination of opaque and translucence is giving me high school prom vibes. I would have preferred the desk be opaque or fully translucent, but then I'd probably not choose it because it would be too much like those naked dresses the Kardashians love so goddamn much.
Angela Bassett got her groove back in the 90s and never really lost it if you ask me. She's got a crazy body and I love that she looks equally sexy in something other than a tight fitting corset deal. The mustard yellow Christian Siriano dress was so beautiful and simple, I really think it's an unexpected favorite from last night.
American photographer Erik Madigan Heck is known for his pattern on pattern photographs that blend fashion and art. I love the hyper-saturated finish of the photography and how the edit makes them appear as if they were painted in a team project consisting of Matisse and Frida, Kahlo.
